Mr Jones contacted The New Driveway Company to replace his damaged driveway with a new block driveway in Albury, Guildford. As well as replacing the driveway we also built a brick retaining wall at the side of the property and a drainage system.
We replaced the old driveway with classic block paving in ‘Brindle’ colour. The existing surface was incredibly thick and difficult to remove. However, after we managed to clear this away, the new driveway provided a smooth, sloped surface which was much more aesthetically pleasing and allowed Mr Jones and his family space to park multiple cars.
A new ACO drainage system was installed with a soakaway at the bottom to reduce excess water, puddles, or risk of flooding.
The area surrounding the driveway was created using Oxford shingle. A weed proof membrane was used beneath the paving to prevent weeds growing between the blocks in the future.
Mr Jones had just finished renovating his house, so his budget was tight, however we were able to work with this constraint thanks to careful planning and time management. He was impressed with our efficiency and loves the finish of his new driveway.
