We worked closely with John to coordinate an immediate site visit, not only to assess the existing conditions but also to incorporate the design ensuring the driveway installation aligned perfectly with the renovation schedule.

During the pre-start visit, it became clear that the existing flowerbed with a bordering hedge would not be suitable for managing the diverted rainwater from the new driveway. To address this, we incorporated a soakaway into the design to ensure efficient and compliant drainage.

As the newly rendered walls were already in place, protection boards were used throughout the excavation phase to prevent any damage. The team also paved the designated bin storage area and carried out repairs to the section outside the gates to complete the overall finish.

The finished driveway has completely transformed the property’s frontage. The clean lines, timeless block pattern, and warm tones complement the newly renovated home beautifully, creating a welcoming and refined entrance. With improved drainage and a flawless finish, the driveway not only enhances kerb appeal but also delivers lasting practicality — all achieved within the client’s limited timeframe.
