After 10 years of improving his home in Maidenhead, Berkshire, Garry had struggled to find reliable contractors he could trust. When the grass areas around his driveway became increasingly weed-laden and difficult to maintain he decided it was time for a change.

Garry wanted a practical, low-maintenance solution that would complement his existing driveway, so he turned to The New Driveway Company to bring his vision to life. Our team replaced the grass areas with gravel and incorporated matching block paving to seamlessly tie the new sections into the existing driveway.

Careful consideration was given to the design to ensure the new gravel areas felt like a natural extension of the existing driveway. The matching block paving created a cohesive finish, while the gravel provided a smart, durable and much easier-to-maintain alternative to the overgrown grass.

The result is a cleaner, smarter driveway that not only complements the property but also removes the ongoing maintenance associated with the previous grass areas.

This transformation even caught the attention of Garry’s neighbours, who were impressed by how clean and tidy our workmen kept the area at the end of each working day. The new gravel has since earned the area its own nickname “the beach”, thanks to its pebble beach-like appearance.

Garry and his family are extremely happy with the transformation. So much so, that he’s already looking forward to having our team back to help with more projects around his home.
