Chris and Jane wanted to refresh and extend their old, tired patio. Weeds had begun growing through the existing slabs leaving the space looking dated. New Driveway Company transformed the outdoor area by extending the original patio with Ridge Range porcelain paving in Sunset Gold, creating a brighter and more cohesive finish.

The mixed patio pack was carefully selected to introduce a variety of slab sizes, creating a more natural, varied layout. Designed to replicate the appearance of sandstone, Sunset Gold porcelain combines the warmth and character of natural stone with the practical benefits of porcelain, offering an attractive, low-maintenance patio solution. With a blend of complementary tones throughout the slabs, the finished patio adds depth and warmth to the garden.

To ensure a consistent appearance across the property, the existing pathway leading from the driveway to the front door was also replaced with matching Sunset Gold porcelain paving. This connected the entrance and garden, creating a coordinated outdoor design that feels welcoming from the moment you arrive.

The project also included a refurbishment of the gravel driveway, which had developed potholes that risked damaging vehicles. A new base and drainage system were installed before the surface was finished with Soft Washed gravel, giving the driveway a fuller, brighter appearance while addressing the existing issues.

The completed project has transformed Chris & Jane’s outdoor spaces, combining an extended porcelain patio, matching pathway and refreshed gravel driveway to create a more attractive, practical and welcoming home.
