Shannon and Max were keen to get their rear driveway installed in line with their return from abroad, requiring efficient project management and careful scheduling. Their decision to contact only the New Driveway Company indicated that they already had confidence in our company’s ability to meet their specific needs.

At Max & Shannon’s design meeting it was decided that Bradstone permeable paving would be the best option for addressing their drainage concerns affected by their garden sloping down onto the driveway.

The design and functionality of permeable paving offers many benefits that can help manage stormwater effectively as it soaks through the surface and is then absorbed into the sub-base. this allows rainwater to accumulate even faster than the ground can absorb it, storing it safely until it soaks naturally into the ground.

The clients and the Sales/Design Team communicated remotely across different time zones complicating scheduling discussions, updates, feedback and decision-making processes. Establishing trust and adaptability was essential, given the reliance on phone calls and emails to navigate the project successfully.

Logistically challenging, the access lane to the house was extremely narrow, making it impossible for deliveries to be made directly to site. All supplies were delivered to a nearby farm where a large dumper, hired specifically for these conditions, was able to transport materials back and forth ensuring that there were no further delays with the installation.

Max and Shannon’s contemporary home now features an attractive courtyard surface that not only enhances its aesthetic appeal but is also able to endure the rigours of country life.
