Mimi asked The New Driveway company to upgrade her prominently positioned shared driveway in Hillingdon.
Our client underwent a medical operation during our time on the project and we had to ensure that safe and level access was available at all times ready for the return from hospital. To overcome this, we took down a section of the fence to allow easy access.
First we had to remove the existing tarmac driveway that had broken up and become uneven over the years. The original driveway had been in situ for a long time and was made up primarily of tarmac which took a little longer than expected to break out.
The land was occupied by a number of protected trees – the roots of which had caused disruption to the existing tarmac driveway. We had to carefully excavate the area so as to not disrupt the root system.
We installed a new Block Driveway that blends in with both houses. We also rebuilt the steps to both front doors and landscaped the areas around the front.
