Ray and Chris first contacted us in late 2021 to quote for a new drive at their house on the Bath Road in Newbury, Berks.

As we were discussing the design and options for their new block paved driveway, Ray mentioned that they were planning other internal and external work on their 1930s detached home, including new windows and a garage conversion. When we explained that New Driveway Company is part of New Home Improvement Group, they were delighted that we could handle everything they’d thought of and more.

We sat down together to plan their wish-list for the house and came up with designs, an order of works, and of course – detailed budgets.

In the end we remodelled their kitchen (including an underfloor heating system), refurbished the master bedroom and converted the garage to allow a new utility room. Then we fitted new AluK aluminium windows, aluminium Bifold doors and a back door, fully re-rendering the house with K-Rend and a new oak porch to tie the whole thing together. And finally, of course we laid the new permeable block driveway!

Ray and Chris are over the moon with this complete facelift of their 1930s property into an elegant modern home. And they’ve already asked us for a new Garden Room for 2023.
