This job was particularly enjoyable as it’s not in our usual setting. Rachel’s farm is in a tiny village called Ewelme and is very quiet, so our team got to work in this beautiful atmosphere whilst admiring the views.

This project covered several sections across Rachel’s land. There were flooding issues with the outdoor bar, so we laid a new block paved area in permeable blocks to prevent the flooding reoccurring. In the open cloakroom area we laid new Indian sandstone slabs by the front door. Rachel has a few luxury lodges in part of her land, and getting to them involved walking through the muddy woods. We prevented this by installing a path through the woods in block paving. At the end of the path we created a large paved area, allowing guests to appreciate the stunning views of Oxfordshire.
