New Garden Patio & Pathway Newbury

Mike initially called our sister company, New Garden Room Company, to build a new music studio in his garden in Newbury.

As we were planning that project it became apparent that the garden would need to be landscaped to tie the house and the studio together.

We worked with him to design a scheme which included a curving pathway, patio and steps in Indian Sandstone, as well as some raised sleepers and an area of gravel near the back door.

Access to Mike’s back garden was tricky – the only way to avoid going through his house was to go through his neighbour’s garden. Thankfully Mike has a good relationship with his neighbour and allowed us access. To minimise inconvenience, we made sure all the big deliveries were made on the same day and that after each day’s work the Team made sure the neighbour’s garden was made fully secure. After the build we replaced all of the fencing.

Mike is delighted with the result, the impact that it’s had on his lifestyle, and the fact that no planning permission was needed.
