A few years ago we installed a new driveway for Mr and Mrs Knowles in Moulsford, Oxfordshire. They were so pleased with the work that they asked us to come back and landscape their garden too.
The Knowles’ had a long, straight, worn-out concrete path running the length of their garden. They wanted a more appealing route through their garden, so we designed a curved ‘snake’ path that weaves in and out of their existing flower beds.
We recreated the path using blocks, however when we were changing the shape of the path we had to make sure that we did not damage the flowers or roots in the flower beds.
Access to the garden was tricky and there wasn’t space to get a digger in, but that doesn’t stop our guys – they just went old-school and dug out the entire project by hand.
Halfway up the path, we incorporated a patio seating area with a water fountain laid in porcelain, as well as a new porcelain patio area in front of the garage.
At the end of the path we designed another little step-up seating area in porcelain where Mr and Mrs Knowles can sit and appreciate their new garden.
“We have used New Driveway Company several times in the past few years. They have given very good advice in developing the project and the quality of their work has been excellent. We have always been very pleased with the finished product.”
