New GravelGrip Driveway, Pishill, Henley, Oxfordshire

Bill came to us and asked us to re create his existing gravel driveway in Pishill, Henley, Oxfordshire. His driveway was tired and most of the gravel had worn down into dust.

We offered him a gravel grip driveway.

A gravel grip driveway uses plastic grids to hold the gravel in. This method prevents the gravel from breaking down and the driveway lasts and looks like new for much longer. Bill has a long driveway which leads up to the main parking area in front of the house. We designed him this gravel grip driveway with a double row of block edging. To break the gravel up we also designed a bell mouth in the main parking area before the long stretch, in front of the garage and at the entrance of the drive.

On the long stretch of driveway, either side of it is a grass area. We installed a low profile metal edging retainer to stop the mud/grass entering the drive. We also laid an Indian sandstone step in front of the front door.
