The New Driveway Company are full members of the Association of Professional Landscapers (APL).
APL landscapers are regarded amongst the best in the country. To become a member, a landscaping business must have a long term trading history and go through a rigorous inspection process. This includes site audits to ensure that members are adhering to all health and safety requirements, workmanship is of the highest standard and the business is being professionally run.
The vetting process is so rigorous that the APL is the only landscaping trade body whose members have been accepted by the Government backed TrustMark accredited scheme. TrustMark is the Government’s own source for finding professional, reliable tradespeople and protecting the public against rogue traders.
When you see a firm displaying the APL logo you have the reassurance of knowing:
- The company is visited annually and their legality and trading record is checked.
- The quality of the landscaper’s work is assessed on site, both during the building phase and on completion every three years as a minimum.
- The landscaper has signed up to a Customer Charter whereby they are a member of the HTA (Horticultural Trades Association) and have been trading for a minimum of two years.
- If a customer has a problem they cannot solve with the landscaper the APL has a process to assist with a resolution.
